What is Reiki?
"Reiki is a spiritual healing art founded in the early 20th century by Dr. Miako Usui. It is a form of energy healing that has been known to help alleviate physical, mental and spiritual stress. It is a way to tune up your energy to its healthiest state allowing for healing to take place.
During a Reiki session a practitioner places his/her hands on or just above a person (Client's preference) with the intention of the Reiki energy to flow. The Reiki energy, also known as Universal Life Force energy, is not the practitioner’s energy. I am originally from Texas. I visited Arizona 4 years ago and fell in love with its beauty. I moved here in January 2024 after caring for my mother who was on hospice. She transitioned in December of 2022, then my plan to move to Arizona began.
Besides Energy work, I love reading, watching spiritual and educational programs, yoga, meditation groups, sound healing groups. I love hiking, sitting with the elements and meditating. I love listening to the birds and wind chimes. I have a deep connection to nature; it soothes my soul.

My Journey from EMT to Energy Healer

The first 20 years of my professional life I worked as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) I worked in Pediatrics, OBGYN, Internal Medicine and Cardiology. While visiting Arizona I had an experience in the mountains in Sedona, that opened my eyes to the energy in our bodies. I became interested in energy work and healing the whole self, not just the physical body. We are MORE than just our physical body.
I am always looking for new classes to take and services to offer that can enhance my client’s healing and spiritual growth even more.
I have always been drawn to help people. It is my life’s purpose. It brings me so much Joy.
